How do we do Business in Asia?

As in Europe, the countries of Asia regularly come together for special events. The Canton Tower in Guangzhou, pictured here, became operational at the time of the Asian Games in 2010. The next Games will take place in Incheon in September/October this year and will involve 20,000 athletes and officials from 45 countries. www.ocasia.org
Asia also increasingly comes together for business - companies in the region trade actively with each other, as well as with the rest of the world. In each case, English plays a key role as a common language. So, for any organisation doing significant business in Asia, be sure to invest in English, and also in some of the language and business culture of the country you want your people to work in.
